Hi Adam, how are you?
I have managed to come across your mac style menu .swc for flex and was just wondering how to initialize this .swc in Flex.
I see that you had posted some pseudo code for using it in flex. Can I use it this way or is their some other way to get this working in Flex
.Would love to chat to you about this as I have a cracking application to integrate this into and the mac style effect will work wonders.
Let me know
Thanks
Take it easy

Hey Adam,
Came across your AS3 port of mac dock. Works great in flash but can’t get it working in Flex. Did you end up finishing it? If so, any chance you could send me the source
Cheers,
Luke

I have found that the AS3 dock doesn’t work the greatest in Flex. It was ported over to AS3 from some pretty hacked together AS2. I would recommend Outsmart’s OSFlex dock, you can find it from: http://labs.getoutsmart.com/archives/2007/05/15/osflex-dock-component/
I have successfully integrated and customized their version in Flex.

Hi Adam
I was wondering if you’d made any progress with the work you were doing on oBix?
The reason being, i’m messing around with trying to
create some flex charts that read data from an obix server.
I’m more than happy to grant you access to the server data if you like?
Thanks,
Jason

Hey Alex,
I downloaded a mac type menu that you converted to AS3 but i seem to have a problem with the menu when i use it with a 360 model. when i spin the model the menu goes out of whack? it leaves a copy of them above at full size. frozen. I am working on that! also can you give me a brief example of how i can link them to url’s.
I don’t know if maybe your to busy it’s not very important i was looking to upgrade the menu on the model.
thanks Phil
